Empowering NGOs by providing them with various tools:

Welcome to ACTogether.mu, the social platform for collaborative development!
Founded in 2007 by the CIEL Foundation, ACTogether.mu is a citizen platform whose aim is to create a network of NGOs, share best practices, and provide exposure to community projects. Focused on fostering inclusive growth and sustainability, the platform regroups NGOs that offer a comprehensive array of support and training.
The platform also provides a means for professionals and corporates to participate and co-create initiatives that contribute to their sustainability or CSR programmes, enhancing their existing philanthropic efforts, and a steadfast commitment to social impact and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles.
The ACTogether platform serves five key purposes:
- To better structure communications on their projects and the causes they champion.
- To support them
Bringing together stakeholders engaged in Mauritius' social landscape, encouraging collaboration for greater social impact.
Encouraging citizen engagement by offering information and guidance on how to get involved.
Creating connections between NGOs and other social actors.
Supporting NGOs with tools and resources to help them better structure and strengthen themselves.
On ACTogether.mu, you can access free online services!
But ACTogether is more than just a website. To achieve our goals, we have the following focus areas:
- Through the ACTogether newsletter. If you wish to receive it, please subscribe here.
- And, through print media, with updates published every last Friday of the month in L'Express.
- With regular capacity-building workshops for NGOs, available both in-person and online
- Through self-care programmes to provide personal reflection time, which is essential for all those involved in humanitarian and non-profit initiatives.
- With meetings and visits with associations and other social stakeholders to strengthen networking opportunities.
- By collaborating with La Sentinelle Ltd for a monthly "Solidarité" page in l'express.
