The Atelier Technique Caritas de Rivière Noire is a project that started in 2010 and offers various workshops for out-of-school boys aged 12 to 16:

  • Welding courses
  • Sculpture courses
  • Cooking courses
  • Art courses (painting and sculpture)
  • IT courses
  • Maintenance courses
  • Courses at the Cavalia Centre (horse riding, therapy, and more)

 

The workshops take place from Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 2 PM.

History

This project was established in September 2010 and focuses on providing training to out-of-school boys from the villages of Rivière Noire. It primarily aims to reduce poverty, empower the underprivileged, and offer training, regardless of religious or ethnic background.

Objectives

The primary goal is to address a pressing need in the region by helping boys aged 12 to 16 (mostly out-of-school) to escape poverty and improve their living conditions through technical and practical training.
