Services offered

Enn Rev Enn Sourir is dedicated to making specialised paediatric care accessible to children who do not have access to it. The organisation coordinates necessary paediatric care for children, taking into account financial aspects that might hinder parents from pursuing their child's medical care.

 

A financial assessment of the parents' situation is conducted to:

  • Ensure their participation in the financial process supporting the child's medical care, maintaining transparency regarding local and international financial aids, and preserving their dignity.
  • Provide guidance on managing the financial support to avoid financial strain while caring for their child.

 

The organisation collaborates with health professionals who refer and validate cases, and with parents who approach the NGO, with care starting once validated by the internal medical committee, and cases referred by the Ministry of Health board. Established partnerships at local and international levels (Netherlands, USA, France, India) help facilitate treatments for children.

 

The primary beneficiaries are sick children needing treatments and surgeries not available or practiced in public medical institutions in Mauritius.

History

Enn Rev Enn Sourir began operating in 2016 as a paediatric NGO, addressing the medical needs of children requiring treatments not available in public hospitals in Mauritius. Since its inception, over 200 children have benefited from the services offered by Enn Rev Enn Sourir.

Enn Rev Enn Sourir aims to offer equal opportunities for all children to access specialised healthcare, ensuring their lives do not depend solely on their parents' financial capacity.
