Hope Rehab Centre
Hope Rehab Centre is dedicated to providing a nurturing and supportive environment for children with a range of physical and cognitive disabilities. We welcome children with mild to severe physical disabilities such as cerebral palsy, spina bifida, and multiple deformities. Additionally, we support children with mild to severe cognitive and mental disabilities, including dyspraxia, dyslexia, Down syndrome, autism, and ADHD. Our goal is to offer comprehensive care and rehabilitation to help each child reach their full potential.
Accreditation Number with the National Social Inclusion Foundation: NCSRF/2018/0051
Hope Rehab Centre offers comprehensive services through an interdisciplinary team that includes special needs educators, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, and the child's parents. Together, they create an Individualised Educational Programme (IEP) tailored to each child's abilities. Short-term and long-term goals are set and regularly reviewed to ensure continuous progress and support.
Beneficiaries: Currently, Hope Rehab Centre supports 6 beneficiaries, primarily children with cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, and autism.
Hope Rehab Centre was established in 2016 with the primary goal of empowering children with physical and cognitive disabilities. Our aim is to help children develop autonomy in their daily activities, such as bathing, eating, dressing, and toileting, as well as in life skills like cooking, reading, and counting. We also strive to help them explore and exploit their talents and potentials in various fields such as cookery, arts and crafts, music, sports, and information technology. Ultimately, our goal is to contribute to the financial independence of these children as they grow up.
Our main clients are children with mild to severe physical disabilities, including cerebral palsy, spina bifida, and multiple deformities, as well as children with mild to severe cognitive and mental disabilities, such as dyspraxia, dyslexia, Down syndrome, autism, and ADHD.
Hope Rehab Centre aims to offer a comprehensive range of services under one roof at an affordable cost. Recognising the financial challenges faced by parents from middle and low socio-economic backgrounds, we are committed to providing regular access to therapists and educators. Our centre guarantees daily therapy and special needs education through interactive and fun games, ensuring that each child develops physically, mentally, and socially.
Since launching Hope Rehab Centre two years ago with our own resources, we have made significant progress. In May 2018, we moved into a new building, thanks to the sponsorship of a local company. We have established various therapy rooms and employed two educators, one occupational therapist, and one carer. Each beneficiary receives a specific therapy programme tailored to their individual disability, ensuring personalised and effective care.
Hope Rehab Centre is supported through monthly contributions by parents and funding from the MCB Forward Foundation.
