JA Mascareignes

JA Mascareignes is dedicated to empowering young people through the implementation of JA programmes in primary and secondary schools, MITD centres, and other NGOs. We conduct workshops on entrepreneurship, financial management, and work readiness to equip students with vital skills. Additionally, we offer talks and seminars on these topics in various educational institutions and centres. Our programmes are also available online, making them accessible to a broader audience. We train educators and volunteers in economic and financial education, entrepreneurship, and work readiness, ensuring they can provide free training to young people. JA Mascareignes is committed to preparing the youth for successful futures and financial independence.

History

JA Mascareignes was registered as an association in December 2009 and received its accreditation from the CSR Committee in September 2010. With financial support from local and international partners, the association fulfils its mission by providing Mauritian youth with the tools they need to overcome obstacles and challenges in the world of work. The organisation educates them to better understand their social and economic environment and develop their entrepreneurial skills.

JA Mascareignes is a member of JA Worldwide (JAWW), the largest organisation in the world dedicated to youth education.
