Maison Familiale Rurale du Nord
Maison Familiale Rurale du Nord is dedicated to providing comprehensive general and professional training programmes tailored to support young people who are struggling academically. The mission is to equip these youths with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in both their personal and professional lives.
The association offers specialised training programmes in automotive mechanics and culinary arts, designed for young people aged 14 to 18. These programmes aim to provide practical skills and professional knowledge to help them build successful careers in these fields.
Maison Familiale Rurale du Nord was established in March 1993 with the mission to support families from vulnerable backgrounds, helping them to secure a brighter future for their children.
The aim is to empower young people and facilitate their professional integration. The focus is on helping them develop responsibility and acquire the skills necessary for successful careers.
More than 700 young people have successfully secured employment, demonstrating the effectiveness of the training programmes and support services offered.
The programmes and services are funded by various sources, including families, the Fondation Espoir Développement (FED) Beachcomber, Fondation Nouveau Regard (FNR), NGO's Trust Fund, and the Rotary Club of Grand-Baie.
Number of Beneficiaries: Currently, 40 young people are enrolled in training programmes, with a total capacity to accommodate up to 80 youths per year.
