The Rabita Prevocational School, managed by the Muslim Educational Society, was established in 1999.
The primary objective of the Rabita Prevocational School is to provide pre-vocational training to young girls from vulnerable groups who have dropped out of school due to failing or poor results at PSAC exams. The school aims to equip these girls with the necessary skills to broaden their opportunities for future work.
Each year, the Rabita Prevocational School successfully trains about 20 to 30 young girls, empowering them to become self-independent. The training equips them with essential skills, including sewing their own dresses, cooking various meals, and preparing a variety of desserts and pastries. Through this hands-on education, the school significantly enhances the girls' capabilities to be self-sufficient.
