Our current project aims at increasing awareness and understanding about the challenges and experiences faced by LBTQGNC Community with a gender mainstreaming focus.
Interested candidates for the position of Community Facilitator (Service Level Agreement) should be able to possess the following:
Responsibilities
Raise awareness and mobilize group members to participate in project activities.
Liaise with community leaders, CSOs, and religious leaders to information as necessary and to raise awareness and receptiveness to gender issues in line with our project.
Document processes, lessons learned, personal stories, and good practices from each group member and share it with the program officer on a regular basis.
Plan and organize activities with the group and target communities.
Conduct frequent meetings with individual group members to assess changes in their needs behaviors, knowledge, attitude, and practices on gender mainstreaming efforts with a focus on LBTQGNC
Compile monthly reports for submission to the Senior Finance and Programme Officer
Experience and qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology or equivalent and/or at least 2 years relevant field experience
Fully computer literate Fluent in English, French and Kreol both written and spoken
Self-starter with the ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently. People-centred and service-oriented
Ability to listen and respond professionally.
