Are you passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of individuals on the path to recovery? Join our therapeutic community (TC), dedicated to supporting people who use drugs and/or alcohol in their journey.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide day-to-day support to residents, ensuring alignment with the TC principles.
  • Assist in implementing individualized care plans that emphasize peer support and communal living.
  • Facilitate group activities, fostering the TC’s emphasis on mutual aid and responsibility.
  • Monitor and document residents' progress in a manner that reflects the community-centered approach.
  • Ensure a safe, supportive, and structured environment in accordance with TC practices.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic, community-based care.

 

Requirements:

  • A background in social work, psychology, counselling, or related fields is preferred.
  • Experience working in a TC or with people who use drugs and/or alcohol.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on community-oriented approaches.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently, with a commitment to the TC philosophy.
  • Flexibility to work day or night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
