Call for Research Proposals:


Are you a dedicated researcher passionate about driving positive change in women's political participation?

Gender Links aims to be a catalyst for transformative research that addresses challenges and propels women's involvement in political spheres.

We are inviting innovative research proposals that contribute to the understanding and advancement of women in politics.

Research Focus Areas:
• Investigate barriers and opportunities for women in reaching leadership positions in politics.
• Intersectionality - Explore the unique challenges faced by women from diverse backgrounds in political landscapes.
• Examine the influence of women in shaping policies and their long-term societal effects.

Proposal Guidelines:
Project Overview: Clearly articulate the research question, objectives, and expected outcomes of your proposed study.
Methodology: Describe the research methodology, including data collection and analysis strategies.
Innovation: Emphasise innovative approaches that contribute new perspectives to existing knowledge.
Practical Implications: Highlight how your research can inform policies and practices to enhance women's political participation.

Research Timeline:
Research is expected to start on 19 February 2024 and end on 12 July 2024.

A dissemination workshop with relevant stakeholders and the media will be held in September 2024.
