We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Rodrigues Manager to join our team on a Full-time Basis.
Reporting directly to the Executive Director, you will play a crucial role in managing all personnel, projects, ecotourism and activities in Rodrigues, ensuring the development and implementation of our conservation efforts. The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a passion for environmental conservation.
Job Brief:

Collaborating with a dynamic Field team from various backgrounds local and international.
Developing and implementing new initiatives that align with our strategic conservation goals.
Coordinating all aspects of our Rodrigues activities in line with our conservation mission.

Requirements:
• A Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Environmental Science, Ecology, Conservation Biology, or a related field.
• 5 years of appropriate managerial experience. • Field work experience is required.
• Essential to reside in Rodrigues.
• Proven ability to lead and manage teams, with experience in supervising staff and volunteers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in financial management and budgeting.
• Strong organisational and project management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software. Experience with GIS.
• Excellent communication skills with good spoken and written English and French.
• Excellent supervisory and leadership skills, self-motivated with demonstrated organizational abilities.
• A clean and valid driving license is required.
• Have a keen interest in conservation and the environment.
