In line with the launching of an ‘Atelier de Musique’ within one of the Community Development projects in St Pierre/Moka, ENL Foundation is calling for Service providers who may act as Music Tutors.
Main Responsibilities:
- Evaluate participants musical knowledge and skills
- Teaching participants how to read music and understand music theory
- Instructing and guiding participants namely children, young adults and adults to play specific musical instruments
- Design lesson plans and programme to meet the needs of the participants
- Organise exchange events with other music schools to allow participants to demonstrate their skills
- Ensure the progress monitoring of each participant
- Assist ENLF team in the activities pertaining to the project Work and
- Report on set objectives
Desirable Experience:
- Proven experience as a Music Tutor or similar role
- Extensive knowledge of music theory and different musical styles.
- Proficiency in playing one or more musical instruments.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Music or Music Education.
Personal Skills:
- Pleasant Personality Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience and the ability to work with participants of all ages and skill levels.
- Capacity to work in team spirit
- Capacity to work under pressure
