The Saint-Joseph Technical School of Beau-Bassin/Rose-Hill is looking for Part-time contractual teachers in the field of Cabinet Making to work with students aged from 14 to 18 years old who have not been successful at the primary and pre-vocational level.
Our school under the aegis of the Mouvement Social de la Jeunesse Mauricienne (MSJM) a registered NGO, is located at St Ignace Street, Rose-Hill.
The aim of the school is to help young people in vulnerable situations to acquire necessary skills with a view to joining the MITD sectors or entering the world of work. By working with our NGO (MSJM), we see our educational project as part of a long-term development strategy for the country, with the aim of increasing everyone's chances of getting on with life. Our trainees who have reached the age of sixteen are subject to a practical apprenticeship training in industries during the August holidays. Extra-Curriculum activities are also offered to our students such as educational visits to industries, recreational activities, sports, therapeutic art and prevention of the ills of our society.
