We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Unit Lead individual to oversee the rehabilitation, therapeutic, and educational activities within CDS. The Unit Lead will work closely with Therapeutic Community Lead, Family Support, Orientation, and Reentry units to ensure high-quality treatment and support for clients. This role also includes team leadership, administrative coordination, and internal/external networking to strengthen the impact of CDS.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the rehabilitation, therapeutic, and educational activities within the Therapeutic Community framework.
  • Ensure effective case management, therapy design, and education plans tailored to clients' needs.
  • Supervise staff performance, training, and professional development within the unit.
  • Coordinate with other Unit Leads for client admissions and programme transitions.
  • Design and implement monthly therapy and education plans, ensuring alignment with the overall objectives.
  • Oversee internships, volunteers, and freelance staff within the unit.
  • Manage unit operations, budgeting, inventory, and administrative procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with therapeutic standards and maintain confidentiality in client care.
  • Lead therapeutic focus meetings and participate in Unit Leads coordination meetings.
  • Collaborate with external service providers (legal, medical, and social) for specialised client interventions.
  • Monitor and support outreach activities.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Public Health, or a related field. 
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in addiction treatment, rehabilitation, or a similar setting. 
  • Strong knowledge of Therapeutic Community principles, case management, and therapy frameworks. 
  • Proven leadership skills in team supervision, training, and professional development.
  • Experience in programme coordination, administration, and HR operations. 
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. 
  • Ability to build relationships with internal teams and external partners.
