1. Health and Medical Officer
Responsibilities:
- Conduct medical consultations and give appropriate treatment.
- Advise on medical matters and projects.
- Document protocols and guidelines as per international recommendations and the health objectives and support strategy of the association.
- Provide medical support to staff and members of the association.
- Provide training internally and externally to medical and paramedical staff, collaborators, and volunteers.
- Create or enhance collaboration with local and international authorities inclusive of different ministries with which the association works.
- Participate actively in all activities (medical and non-medical related) organised by the association including the residential camp.
- Ensure proper reporting of all medical activities and updating of member/beneficiary records.

Qualifications
- Degree in Medicine from a recognized institution with 2 years of residency training and registered as a Medical Practitioner with Medical Council of Mauritius.
- Experience in Type 1 Diabetes will be an advantage.
2. Programme Support Officer
Responsibilities
Answer telephones and take messages or transfer calls to appropriate individuals.
Greet visitors and callers, handle their inquiries, and direct them to the appropriate persons.
Assist in fund raising activities.
Provide support in setting up meetings, activities, workshops, presentations etc.
Provide safe, reliable, and courteous transportation service to members and/or guests and staff.
Operate office equipment and use computers for database management, and other computer and mobile applications.
Assisting in preparing monthly food packs for T1Diams beneficiaries.
Assisting and doing follow-ups along with all staffs for monthly PC maintenance.
Order and dispense supplies.
Help in clean-up of places where activities/events are carried out.
Provide support to the field activities of T1 Diams.
Operate and maintain assigned vehicle.
Maintain vehicle and passengers’ travelling records.
Carry out general handyman tasks as and when required.
Do you have the profile?
Defensive driving addict.
Good knowledge of Creole, English and French language, oral and written.
Flexible to work irregular hours like a mix of early mornings, daytime and evenings on weekdays and weekends, as required.
Courteous, disciplined and punctual.
Great coolness and composure under strain.
Good problem-solving skills including DIY abilities.
IT literate (MS Office / Mobile Apps).
Holds a valid driver’s licence for private car since at least 5 years.
Did not have any major accidents during the past 5 years.
