In a spirit of sharing of knowledge and practices, ANFEN is holding a “psychosocial” training intended to professionals offering psychosocial support to children and adolescents. The training is entitled: “Psychosocial support to children and adolescents in situations of vulnerability so that they can develop their resilience, hope and the right to a future.” (prise en charge psychosociale des enfants et adolescents en situation de vulnérabilité afin de les aider a retrouver leurs capacités résilientes, l’espoir et le droit a l’avenir.)
The training will be facilitated by Nadine Chantry, a psychologist having an extensive international expertise in the field of psychosocial support based on systemic family approaches and in aid relationships, mental health and child protection. The aim is to strengthen the overall support network for individuals in need and ensure a consistent, high-quality approach across institutions. This collaboration allows ANFEN Training Institute (ATI) to capitalise on established, evidence-based methodologies and empower other organisations and individuals with the skills and tools necessary for effective psychosocial support, fostering a more resilient and supportive community.
The training is divided into 2 sessions:
The cost of the training per session is Rs 10, 000 but a discount of Rs 2, 500 is applied for attending both sessions of 4 days. This training is HRDC refundable and NGOs are also eligible to refunds by the HRDC on training. Details on that opportunity are found on the MRA (Mauritius Revenue Authority) website.
